Lyndsay Gordon
Lyndsay is a senior at the University of Washington, getting a BS in Environmental Science and Resource Management and a BA in Environmental studies. Ever since she was little the environment has been one of Lyndsay’s undying passions and PBR gives her the opportunity to combine it with her newest passion -- development of communities, equality, and sustainability both at home and around the globe.
Lyndsay is eager to learn more about PBR, bamboo, and the potential of both to create a green and more sustainable future.

Philip Gustavson, M.A.
Phil brings to PBR experience and knowledge across many areas including ecologically sustainable design and intercultural communication. An enthusiastic traveler, Phil has facilitated field research for human rights NGO’s in Egypt and Jordan. He is fluent in Classical and Egyptian Arabic and has worked for the Arab Program for Human Rights Activists as well as the United Nations Economic Commission for West Asia.
Phil received his B.A. of Liberal Arts from The Evergreen State College and completed his M.A. in Whole Systems Design from Antioch University. In 2007, he traveled to China with PBR founder Jonathan Scherch to attend the International Workshop on Bamboo at Zhejiang Forestry University.
A jazz guitarist and music educator, Phil is currently the office manager and guitar instructor at the Seattle School of Rock. He is attending Antioch University towards the goal of a Master’s Degree in Environment and Community.

Sheila Rodriguez
Sheila brings over 30 years experience in business management to PBR. Her last 12 years have been in the health care industry with not-for-profit organizations. Over the last few years, Sheila’s area of interest has focused on the circumstances surrounding poverty both in the United States and around the world.
Sheila received her B.A. in Liberal Arts with a focus on Community Health from Antioch University Seattle and is currently completing her M.A. in the Environment & Community Program at Antioch.
Upon hearing a lecture on permaculture by Jonathan, Sheila was eager to see how centering on agriculture or more importantly agroforestry and water system design will come together to help people living in poverty.

Jim Solada
For the past four years, Jim has been a student in the Agribusiness school at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, CA and will be graduating in summer of 2010. He desires exploring new challenges allowing his time in the classroom to begin translating into real-world success.
Jim hails from Walnut Creek, California, but has spent most of his life living on the east coast. He has previous internship experience, working last fall as a lab technician at a winery along California’s central coast.
Jim is eager to expand his knowledge of marketing and business development, and would love to advance PBR’s mission.
