Sustainability Internships -- Join us!!

Connect your interests and studies with PBR.

Are you a graduate or undergraduate student, senior or retiree, or simply interested in the work of PBR? We want you!

We seek collaborators who have:
  • knowledge of or interest in learning about international bamboo resources and relevant social, economic and environmental trends for which bamboo can be of benefit;
  • knowledge of or interest in learning about PBR's Integrated Resource Systems and related interdisciplinary research -- interests in food, water, soil, energy systems a plus;
  • who can commit a regular and reliable amount of time to projects of interest (typically between 3 to 6 hours per week);
  • a sense of humor and who seek fun and meaningful collaboration!
  • strong interests in and familiarity with themes of sustainability, climate change, renewable energies, ecological design methods and collaborative learning;
  • access to a computer and internet connection, and knowledge of various office software programs;
  • knowledge and experience with digital media production, videography, podcasting and graphic design arts;
  • writing and public communication skills;
  • interest in and willingness to travel and assist with logistical planning as needed;
  • experience in grant research and proposal writing a plus!

PBR programs and initiatives are reaching Asia, Africa, North and South America, and to Pacific Islands -- choose a region of interest and help to grow emerging collaborations.
