Are you looking for an exciting and challenging sustainability internship? Do you have an interest in professional fields such sustainable agriculture and food systems, innovative business, development policy, restoration ecology, planning, design, or education? We are looking for talented Sustainability Interns who wish to learn and contribute to our collaborative projects, interdisciplinary studies and research, and community networks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills;
- Willingness to learn research skills and/or excellent proven research experience;
- Demonstrated interest in sustainability as it applies to community, economic / business development, and ecological restoration;
- Quick learner, willingness to take on tasks in complement to preferred activities (i.e. data entry, research, whatever is needed);
- Solid work ethic, positive "can-do" attitude, reliable "on-time" results, and high standard of professionalism;
- A sense of humor, creative spirit, and capacity to work with others on exciting collaborative projects;
- Proficient in MS Office suite, internet resources, e-communications, etc.
Time frame and Compensation
Our Sustainability Internships are intended for university senior undergraduates and/or graduate students who will be with us 10 hours per week for 3-6 months. Hours and workdays are flexible to meet intern / staff needs. Start date is flexible. The position is unpaid.
