Inter American Conference on Non-Conventional Materials and Technologies in Ecological and Sustainable Construction
The topics of the conference will be broad and far-reaching and will cover all aspects within the field of non-conventional materials and technologies presenting the results of research, development, design, innovation and practical application. Non-conventional materials are wide-ranging and diverse. They include materials which have been used since the early human civilization, such as stone, soil, straw, quick lime and wood, as well as industrial and agricultural wastes, like fly ash, rice husk ash, and all types of vegetable fibers like coconut fibres, sisal, piassava, used as reinforcement in different types of matrix, recycled materials such as plastics, rubber and metal.
